Kilmory Haven offers flexible accommodation for individuals, families and groups of up to 23 in a modern, purpose built bunkhouse. It is located on the beautiful Isle of Arran and is a community-owned enterprise with charitable status, run for the benefit of the local area. It has three interlinked elements:
The Haven provides self-contained accommodation in a purpose-built bunkhouse that opened in May 2005. It is attached to the Public Hall and accommodates up to 23 guests; it has its own fully-equipped kitchen/dining room. Additional accommodation is available within the Public Hall for larger groups. Camping is also available, subject to Scotland’s wild camping code.
Stag and Hen parties are welcome. We also cater for weddings, anniversaries or any other large gathering.
The 1934 Club
Opened in March 2013, the club is a social hub for the local community and welcomes bunkhouse guests and visitors. Open from 5pm on Thursdays and Fridays and 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays, the bar can also be made available to Bunkhouse guests at other times by arrangement.
The club also offers an all you can eat Big Breakfast once a month, Fish’n’Chips and Friday night £5 supper on alternate Fridays, in addition to specially catered events such as Curry Night! Alternative catering can also be provided on request.
The Public Hall
Kilmory Public Hall offers a large space which can be used as an event venue, games hall or a seminar meeting area for up to 150.
The interlinked elements of the Haven, the Club and the Hall offer a unique package of facilities to groups visiting Arran for business or pleasure.
The Directors gratefully acknowledge the assistance from these bodies, without which the project would not have been possible
