Kilmory Haven provides modern, flexible purpose-built holiday accommodation for individuals, families and groups of all sizes, up to a maximum of 23. Completed in May 2005, the building is attached to Kilmory Hall. Groups staying at the Haven have the option of using the extra facilities that the Hall offers, including a spacious hall/auditorium and other meeting rooms which can be utilised for rehearsals, lectures or small group activities. Guests have included extended family parties, a choir, a team-building company, a music workshop weekend, and several outdoor adventure groups, including walkers, climbers and cyclists. The Haven is a purpose built extension to the existing Public Hall. We can sleep a maximum of 23 in 4 rooms. Two dormitory-style rooms sleeping 8, and two leaders rooms, sleeping 3 and 4 respectively, and both of these have en-suite facilities. Generous storage is provided below the bunks. Each room has its own lock for your security. There are ample toilet and shower facilities for the dormitory guests. We provide bed linen for the single bed size bunks, including sheets and duvets, but guests have to provide their own towels. The carpeted bedrooms are comfortable and warm, beds will be make up with our bed linen in time for your arrival, although please remember to bring your own towels.
Kitchen / Dining area
The modern, well equipped kitchen/dining area is on the first floor and gives views over the Firth of Clyde. Microwave, fridge freezer, and dishwasher are all provided. This is the only private social area of the accommodation but has ample space and is well furnished with tables and chairs and everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Within the kitchen is a large drying /airing cupboard with hangers for your outerwear and it also provides extra storage. The modern, well equipped kitchen/dining area is on the first floor and gives fantastic views over the Firth of Clyde and Lagg Wood.
